My name is Dan. I am the founder of the Staten
Island Ghost Hunters. My passion for the paranormal hit me about 2 years ago. I started to watch the series Ghost Hunters
on the scifi channel and was inspired to start my own group and start investigations in the places right here on Staten
Island.
I formed this group because I felt not
many people understood ghosts and spirits. I also feel some people have the wrong views on ghosts and think
people like me are a little "crazy" for believing in something we can't see... We can't always see God. Does that mean he
does not exist?
By forming this group, I hope that I
will be able to show everyone that ghosts and spirits were people too and they still deserve to be treated like them. We should
not fear them, but understand them.
I also believe that ghost hunting groups should
not be judged by what is on their website, but how they perform their investigations.

Cheryl is also the founder of the group, and she is my aunt. Without her, this group would not be what
it is now.
"I have always had intuitions, I have felt, smelled and seen spiritual things. I have spent my entire life
trying to fine tune my special gifts. God is a strong influence in my life. My driving force.
I have children that have seen paranormal stuff also. My son was protected by a wolf for about a
year and a half. It stayed in his room and took care to watch over him. My daughter has seen Jesus when she was two.
They seem to know what I am thinking. My older daughter has seen shadows crouched in the doorways
around the world trade center after the towers fell weeks later. I have also been places, out of body experiences. Only a
few of them. I have lots of trouble coming back."

She has had paranormal experinces while growing up, and now she searches
for an explanation.
